Our Fish Hawk Coding Classes
Skill Samurai is for kids of all ages. We encourage children to learn to code as early as possible, that’s why we designed our courses to explore these concepts in a way that makes sense to kids as young as seven. Our Fish Hawk coding courses have been developed to make kids interested in STEM by making learning fun! Not only will your child learn valuable STEM skills that will give them the tools they need for future success; they’ll also learn how to think critically. We break our course offerings down by age group.
Elementary school (ages 7 to 12)
classes teach kids the foundations of computer science, using:● Block-based coding● Scratch● Minecraft● Roblox
Middle school (ages 12 to 14)
students have the opportunity to explore and specialize in guided career paths, like video game design, web development, and engineering. In addition to Roblox and Minecraft, our middle schoolers learn using:● YouTube● HTML/CSS● JavaScript● LUA● Python● Unreal engine
High school (ages 14 and up)
students learn the skills they need to prepare for college, careers, and industry certification. The classes we offer high schoolers include:● Entrepreneurship● Career development● Internet of Things● Artificial intelligence, machine learning, and deep learning● Cloud computing, applied data analytics, database fundamentals, Big Data● Marketing sales and service● STEM: science, technology, engineering, and mathematics

We recognize that Fish Hawk families have busy schedules, and that's why we offer flexible, project-based and self-paced classes. Our monthly memberships provide access to one or two classes per week, and if your child misses a class, makeup classes are available.
